In this unique concert, lutenist Sylvain Bergeron, the gambists Margaret Little and Susie Napper of the duo Les Voix humaines, and their guests, will explore a key era in the history of English music. The program will consist of pavanes and galliards by Thomas Morley, John Dowland, and William Byrd, and, in addition, of lute songs and cheerful Elizabethan ballads sung by soprano Catherine Webster.
