September Concert Series Voices on Voices

A workshop/discussion on writing and arrangement with Merrill Garbus, renowned from her tUnE-yArDs project. Since being embedded in a thriving Montréal folk/fringe/jazz community that now sets their watches to her every move, Merrill has moved on to playing a significant international role as performer. She’ll speak with Drew Nelles of her recent forays into composition for vocal ensembles and will workshop one of her songs with a group of local vocalists who will also join her onstage at her Ukrainian Federation show later that night!
